David Hill is a chemical engineer and has over 38 years experience in process engineering, commissioning, heavy chemical plant operations, project management, biochemical / fine chemical plant design and knowledge of cGMP as applied in the pharmaceutical industry. Process engineering experience has spanned plant troubleshooting, process development from a conceptual stage to basic design package to detailed engineering and commissioning. Process management, systematic studies and a broad background of and interaction with other disciplines form part of his wide experience.
John Le Patourel is a chemical engineer with 25 years experience, 16 of which was gained in the process development, project execution, commissioning and plant optimisation of a few projects (biochemical / fine and effect chemical). The remainder of the experience is based on performing consulting studies, process audits, process investigations and debottlenecking studies as well as conventional process engineering work mostly for the chemical industry.
Gerhard Nel is a mechanical engineer over 35 year s total experience in heavy chemical production plant maintenance and operations. Gerhard has been involved in the estimating, design and management of several projects in gas separation, fluorocarbons, liquefiable gasses and other fields related to the heavy chemical industry. He has extensive experience in project development activities and techno-economic studies in the petro-chemical, fertiliser, fine chemicals and biotechnology fields, as well as recent project execution experience in various large scale bulk Ammonia and LPG offloading storage and handling systems.
John Skews is a chemical engineer and has over 40 years experience in the design and operations of heavy industrial and fine chemical plant. His career has also included many years as a control and instrumentation engineer. He was extensively involved in a major company s fine chemical development program. John is currently involved in the process development of neutraceuticals, effluent treatment and waste recycling projects, the latter including carbon credits.
Peter Veitch is a mechanical engineer with more than 35 years experience gained as a design engineer, maintenance manager and project manager with technology exposure to ammonia and other base chemicals from coal, cryogenic gas processes, biotechnology and other diverse commodity chemicals. Recent experience includes a number of projects relating to environmental protection and remediation, medical waste treatment and the management of the inspection of large low pressure ammonia storage tanks.
